A second coast-to-coast attempt, this time for zero.

Trip 1 proved a Cybertruck could drive itself across America. This drive exists to prove it was not a fluke, with the same vehicle, the same public scrutiny, and a harder standard.

The goal is simple and unforgiving: leave Atlantic City, cross the country, arrive in Santa Monica, and do it with zero disengagements.

On February 18, 2026, a Tesla Cybertruck named Kemosabe left Atlantic City with a singular mission: drive about 3,018 miles to Santa Monica on Tesla Full Self-Driving v14.2.2.3 with zero disengagements.

Six days earlier, Taha and Nichell completed the first autonomous Cybertruck cross-country drive during a family emergency. That trip proved distance. This one is about precision.

One successful run can be dismissed as luck. Doing it again, on a different route, with a harder standard, turns the story into evidence.

The route follows the I-70 corridor through NJ → PA → OH → IN → IL → IA → NE → CO → UT → NV → CA, chosen in part to avoid interior checkpoint surprises that could force unnecessary interventions.

The trip also carries personal meaning. It passes Lancaster and Lauxmont Farms, landmarks connected to Taha and Nichell's own story, before cutting west across plains, mountains, desert, and finally the Pacific coast.

If the checksum baseline holds, this is not just another long drive. It is a clean, documented proof of what today's system can do in the real world.
